Chantal Roberts

Chantal M. Roberts is the author of The Art of Adjusting: Writing Down the Unwritten Rules of Claims Handling and Once Upon A Claim: Fairy Tales to Protect Your Ass(ets). Her impressive accomplishments include holding leadership positions in well-known insurance companies, such as Liberty Mutual Insurance Company and MetLife Insurance Company. She later became a Claims Manager for a third-party administrator for syndicates at Lloyd’s of London.

 

A licensed adjuster in several states, Chantal's background includes educating claims departments and overseeing adjuster training, making her fully capable of instructing and preparing adjusters in training. She obtained her Insurance Training Professional (ITP) designation in 2024. Due to her excellent reputation in the industry, Chantal had the privilege of speaking at the Western Zone Committee Meeting of the NAIC (National Association of Insurance Commissioners).

 

She also teaches risk management and insurance at the Borough of Manhattan Community College, City University of New York (BMCC, CUNY) as well as facilitates study groups twice a year for The Institutes CPCU Society, CPCU 530 Applying Legal Concepts to Insurance.

My Book!

I'm so grateful to have had the opportunity to write my first book. A special thank you to everyone who has encouraged me along the way, given feedback, guidance and grace. My hope is that every reader will find it helpful along their adjusting journey!
